izzit is a daily drawing game for iOS and Android. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data the apps collect and how it is used.
What we collect
Drawings you submit are sent to Google's Gemini API for analysis (to judge whether your drawing matches the daily word). Google processes the image to generate a response and does not store it. See Google's AI terms.
Anonymous usage analytics are collected via Firebase Analytics in the apps and Google Analytics 4 on this website to help us understand how izzit is used (e.g., how many drawings are submitted, which features are popular, how many people visit the site). This data is anonymous and cannot identify you personally. Ads-personalization data is not collected and ad-related cookies are not set on the website.
Crash reports are collected via Firebase Crashlytics to help us fix bugs. These include device model, OS version, and stack traces. No personal information is included.
iCloud sync (iOS only) — if you use multiple Apple devices, your game data (drawings, streaks, history) syncs via Apple's CloudKit. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. The Android app stores game data locally on the device.
In-app purchase (iOS) — izzit is offered as a one-time $0.99 in-app purchase via the App Store. All payment processing is handled by Apple under your Apple ID. We do not see, store, or have access to your payment details, billing address, or card information. Purchase status is read on your device via Apple's StoreKit framework so the app knows whether to allow drawing submissions. We reserve the right to change pricing or move to a subscription model for future purchasers; if you purchase under the current model, you retain access. To request a refund, use Apple's standard refund flow at reportaproblem.apple.com.
What we don't collect
- No account creation or login required
- No personal information (name, email, phone) is collected by the apps
- No payment details, card numbers, or billing addresses (subscription billing is processed entirely by Apple)
- No third-party advertising or ad tracking
- No data is sold to third parties
- No location data
Email signup (website only)
If you sign up for launch notifications on our website, we store your email address solely to send you one notification when the apps launch. We do not share your email with anyone. You can request removal by emailing us.
Data storage
Your drawings and game history are stored locally on your device — using SwiftData on iOS and Room on Android. On iOS, if iCloud is enabled, this data also syncs to your iCloud account. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
Children's privacy
izzit does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The apps do not require any personal information to use.

We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
